For the next week, we will be donating $30 from each sale towards our beloved Bumi Sehat in Ubud, Bali.
Not only do they do amazing things for local mothers and babies, they also provide essential health services to the local community and they are currently going out everyday and feeding the poor, homeless and hungry.
This brand was born in Bali, as was Mia's first born Ziggy. We used to spend countless hours sitting in the hot dusty balinese traffic zig zagging across the island from villa, to manufacturer, to the dye house and back again. We were met with smiles everywhere we went, helpful, hospitable and happy. It was not always easy but it was a pleasure living and learning in that island paradise.
When Mia was pregnant with Ziggy, she enlisted the experienced and loving hands of the Bumi Sehat midwives to deliver him at home in Ubud. So with everything going on in Bali at the moment, we wanted to show them some love.

Yayasan Bumi Sehat
Yayasan Bumi Sehat was founded in 1995 as a not-for-profit organization, based in Bali, Indonesia. ‘yayasan’ means not-for-profit, ‘bumi’ means earth-mother, and ‘sehat’ translates as healthy. Thus they are the healthy mother earth foundation. Bumi Sehat Foundation International’s mission is to reduce maternal and child morbidity and mortality and to support the health and wise development of communities. Toward this goal, we provide general health services, emergency care, prenatal, postpartum and birth services and breastfeeding support; in addition, healthcare and youth education, environmental and disaster relief programs.
